Hello, I’m Joanne Mehl, an established professional figurative artist that paints realistic subjects in an impressionist style. I use traditional oil paints, glazes, and gouache media and techniques. I have several specialties:

Since 1985, I’ve painted over 140 commissioned portraits of people, horses, and pets; plus innumerable equestrian scenes that are sold in galleries, at auction, or online.
