Morning Haze, Hanalei, Kauai, 6 x 8

I never get tired of painting this view of Ha’ena from Kenomene Beach. On this trip we had rain and clouds, which made the view hazy and the colors muted. The turquoise color of the water, always so unbelievable, was pale, reflecting the sky’s gentler mood after the heat of Summer.
