17 Jul “Sailboats at Anchor, Hanalei Harbor”, oil on Panel, 9 x 7
I painted this piece from the end of the Hanalei Pier. The weather had been stormy with fog and clouds blowing in waves from ocean to shore. I had to set up, wait and have faith but eventually my patience was rewarded with a clear crystalline view of Ha’ena and the sailboats bobbing in the turquoise water like rubber bathtub toys.
