We’d had thunderstorms all week of our vacation in Hawaii and this day was no exception. It was windy and threatening rain on this little beach at Moloa’a, Kauai. I set up under some Kamani trees that offered some shelter from the wind and watched the dance of clouds and light. By watching and waiting for the moments when the sun emerged and lit up the sky and landscape, I was able to record the scene before the next shower advanced and chased me to my car.
